Comparing The 2025 Honda Ridgeline and 2025 Kia Telluride

If you’re thinking about buying a new vehicle and versatility is a top priority, you’ll want to see what some of the top models have to offer. The KIA Telluride is a popular choice in SUVs, which are known for their versatility. However, you don’t want to overlook the Honda Ridgeline, which provides a unique combination of truck and sport utility.

Comparing Power

It might surprise you to compare these two models because they have several major differences. For one thing, the Telluride is a three-row model with seating for eight while the Ridgeline has two rows and room for five. If you want a combination of passenger space and capability, the Honda wins with all-wheel drive to tackle more terrain. This truck comes with a standard tow hitch to help you get out of sticky situations. Surprisingly, both models have similar V6 engines with almost identical horsepower and torque. While the Telluride holds its own for power, the Ridgeline does the same when it comes to efficiency with fuel economy close to the SUV. You’ll travel further in the Ridgeline, which has a larger gas tank.

Comparing Amenities

The base trims of the Honda Ridgeline and KIA Telluride have the basics, but they don’t come with all the luxury features. Once you get to the top trims, these models are fully loaded. You get a power driver seat with lumbar support, multi-level heated and cooled front seats, dual zone climate control, and keyless ignition on both vehicles with the top trim. Each model offers several trims to choose from, with several distinct options. The 2025 Honda Ridgeline offers sporty trims and a unique Black Edition with styling details specific to this model. The KIA Telluride offers ten trims or variations with four options for the SX.

Comparing Safety

Honda and KIA include the latest safety features on their models and the Ridgeline and Telluride are no exceptions. Even the base trims include systems, such as Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Keep Assist, and a backup camera. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included on the upper trims to allow you to keep your focus on the road while making and receiving phone calls, listening to messages, and retrieving your playlists without taking your hands of the wheel. Find your way to any new destination with navigational help from either model. While the Telluride offers rear seat entertainment for passengers, the Honda Ridgeline includes satellite radio and HD radio for a pleasurable listening experience. Remote keyless entry and remote engine start are also standard for the mid and upper trim levels.

You may be surprised to find that two very different looking vehicles could have so much in common. While the 2025 Honda Ridgeline is a pickup truck, it offers many of the same amenities and features as a top-model SUV. If you need the versatility of an SUV with more capability, you’ll want to check out this truck.
